Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all players selected for the S4S Academy Teams (Chelsea FC, Ashburton United SC, FC Melbourne) for the 2025/26 season and relate only to academy coaching fees, tournament fees, uniforms, and the Academy Code of Conduct. Additional club registration fees will also apply and are separate to these coaching fees.

All general playing codes of conduct are agreed at club level with the respective club.

The Academy Code of Conduct is included in the Academy Information Pack (see website for details).

1. Annual Academy Coaching Fees

  • U7: $1,000 per season
  • U8 and above: $1,600 per season

Payment Terms

  • 50% of the annual fee is payable upon acceptance of a place in the Academy team.
  • The remaining 50% must be paid no later than 1 March 2026.
  • Payment plans are available on registration.

2. Payment Method & Invoicing

  • All payments are to be made in AUD.
  • Payments can be made online by credit or debit card – we do not accept bank transfers or cash.
  • Subject to the 50% deposit, charges can be paid on a payment plan by direct debit.
  • Payment plans incur a $0.99 transaction fee per payment.
  • All invoices include GST.

3. Late Payment Policy

If any payment is not received by the deadline, players risk suspension from training and matches until the invoice has been settled.


4. Commitment Period

By accepting a place in an Academy Team, families commit to the full season’s academy coaching fees for the 2025/26 program. Fees remain payable in full regardless of withdrawal, except where a refund is approved per the Refund Policy.


5. Tournament & Uniform Costs

  • Tournament fees and uniform costs are separate from annual coaching fees.
  • Tournament fees are one-off payments and invoiced separately.
  • Uniforms are purchased separately:
    • Chelsea FC: via club provider.
    • Ashburton United SC & FC Melbourne: via designated online store.
  • Tournament/uniform payments are not part of academy coaching fee plans.

6. Tournament Fees

  • Tournament fees remain payable if a player withdraws after committing.
  • Once team entry is confirmed, fees are non-refundable.
  • Extenuating circumstances must be submitted in writing to:

7. Uniform Fees

All uniform orders must be paid in full at the time of ordering. Orders are not processed until full payment is received.


8. Refund Policy

  • Refunds for academy coaching/tournament fees considered case-by-case.
  • Requests must be made in writing to performanceteams@s4sacademy.com.au
  • No refunds/exchanges for Chelsea FC uniforms or merchandise.
  • For Ashburton United SC & FC Melbourne, exchange only is available for sizing errors.

9. Non-Transferability

All fees are specific to the named player and season. Payments cannot be transferred or credited to another player/season.


10. Academy Code of Conduct

  • All players and families must adhere to the Academy Code of Conduct.
  • Breaches may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or removal.
