Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all players selected for the S4S Academy Teams for the 2026/27 season and relate only to academy coaching fees, tournament fees, uniforms, and the Academy Code of Conduct. Additional club registration fees will also apply and are separate to these coaching fees.
All general playing codes of conduct are agreed at club level with the respective club.
The Academy Code of Conduct is included in the Academy Information Pack (see website for details).
- S4S Academy 2026/27 – Terms & Conditions
By registering for an S4S Academy program, the parent/guardian agrees to the following:
1. Registration & Placement
A player’s position is not confirmed until all required registration details and payments have been completed.
Team and squad placement will be determined by S4S Academy based on age, ability, development, attendance, attitude and program requirements.
Selection does not guarantee a particular team, position, playing time, tournament selection or future placement.
2. Fees & Payments
The applicable Academy Program Fee is shown during registration.
A 50% deposit is payable upon acceptance. The remaining balance must be paid by 1 Feb 2027.
Players with overdue fees may be suspended from training, matches or tournaments until payments are brought up to date.
3. No Refund Policy
All deposits, instalments and Academy Program Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
No refund or credit will ordinarily be provided where a player withdraws, changes clubs, misses sessions, becomes injured or unavailable, or is suspended or removed due to conduct or payment issues.
4. Club, FV & Uniform Costs
Partner-club registration fees, Football Victoria / PlayFootball fees and uniform costs are separate from the S4S Academy Program Fee unless specifically stated otherwise.
Families are responsible for completing all required registrations and remaining financial throughout the season.
5. Training, Matches & Tournaments
Training days, times, venues and schedules may change due to weather, venue availability, council allocations, competition requirements or other operational circumstances.
Tournament participation, match selection and playing time are determined by S4S Academy coaching staff and are not guaranteed.
6. Player & Parent Conduct
Players, parents and spectators must treat coaches, teammates, opponents, referees, officials and other families with respect.
Bullying, abusive language, threatening behaviour, discrimination, sideline coaching or serious misconduct will not be accepted.
Breaches may result in warnings, suspension or removal from the program.
7. Photography & Media
Parents/guardians consent to players being photographed or filmed during S4S Academy activities for use on S4S Academy and partner-club websites, social media and promotional material.
Any parent/guardian who does not consent must notify S4S Academy in writing.
8. Communication & Program Changes
Families are responsible for keeping contact details current and regularly checking Academy communications.
S4S Academy may make reasonable changes to training, venues, schedules, coaches or program delivery where required.
9. Acceptance
By completing registration, the parent/guardian confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions, the applicable fees, the no-refund policy, conduct requirements and relevant S4S Academy and partner-club policies.
